12/14/23 - This is an excellent example of an AC 42 Walther P.38 issued to the German military in 1942. All matching with the proper "Eagle 359" military proofs throughout. It comes as a rig with a 1942-dated hard shell holster, one original matching-numbered magazine, and one numbered but mismatched magazine. The gun's original finish rates about 94% with minor wear around the muzzle, on the high edges of the slide, and some minor thinning on the front strap. A few small spots of light oxidation here and there. Fitted with period-correct bakelite grips - no waffen proofs. The bore has good rifling, but there is freckling throughout. De-cocker is functional.
