9/28/17 - This is a police-marked Mauser P.38, made in 1944. It has the Eagle/L police proof on the right side of the slide, of which there were only 4,600 produced. The original finish is about 98%, with some freckling on the right side of the slide, and the top cover. Magazine is only marked 'P.38' on body, with no spine markings. Minty bore.
