6/3/21 - This is an excellent example of a P.38 that was put together from parts at the end of WW2 and reworked after WW2 by the East German police. It has a "Crown N" marked barrel, a Mauser frame, and a rare "AC 44" FN slide. Every part was numbered or renumbered at the police arsenal to match. Also comes with an arsenal-numbered matching magazine. It has retained about 96-97% of its finish. There are a few small handling marks here and there and very minor thinning on the sides of the slide. A few small areas of minor pitting on the right side of the slide. Excellent late-war grips. Mint bore. De-cocker is functional. The internals are covered in thick grease and could benefit from a good cleaning.
