6/13/19 - This is a nice example of a CZ vz. 38 pistol that was manufactured in 1939. The original blue rates at about 90% with most of the finish loss along the top and left sides of the slide. Terrific bore and excellent grips. These pistols were produced at the request of the Czechoslovakian Air Force and Cavalry, but the German occupation occurred before the pistols were issued. They were then diverted to the German military and given the new designation of P.39(t). About 41,000 such pistols were produced with high-polish blue.
