6/1/20 - This .22 Caliber Birmingham Small Arms Air Rifle was manufactured between 1919 and 1936 in Birmingham, England. At least 50k of these guns were made. Powered by a large spring in the breech which is cocked by an under-barrel lever, a .22 cal. pellet is loaded through a port in the top of the barrel and fired. An adjustment screw on left of receiver adjusts velocity from low to high. Overall, this example is in excellent condition. There are a couple of small spots of wear in the original bluing on the barrel and light freckling here and there. The wood stock is in good condition but there are small dings, dents, and light surface scratches throughout. The bore has strong rifling. No FFL required.
