10/17/19 - This is a beautiful Springfield Armory M1 Garand that was manufactured in 1942, then re-worked in 1955, either for the Korean War or by the CMP. The finish on metal parts is generally excellent, with some thinning on the top of the receiver and trigger assembly. Serial number dates to November of '42. Barrel is dated to January of 1955. Stock is unmarked but in fantastic condition. Bore hardly looks used - muzzle reading is a 1, throat is less than 1. Comes with a buttstock cleaning kit.
