7/25/19 - This is an excellent example of the desirable Colt Model 1902 pistol, that was manufactured in 1919 for issue to the US military. The military model can be distinguished by the rectangular shape to the frame, and the additional cartridge capacity in their magazines. This model was chambered for .38 ACP, and is very similar in design to the innovative M1900. This particular example has excellent case hardening on the hammer and retains about 95% of the original, high-polish blue. There is only minor high edge wear on the slide, but most of the finish loss is on the front strap. The slide also does have some minor oxidation/discolored spotting, but minimal bluing loss. The bore, grips and magazine are all in minty condition.
