2/1/23 - This is an excellent example of an Erfurt Ortgies Pistol manufactured in the 1920's and chambered in 7.65mm. This one is all matching, has the proper "Crown N" proofs, and has a "Germany" export marking on the underside of the frame, indicating it was intended for sale in the international commercial market. It has retained about 97% of its original finish. There is very minor wear around the muzzle and around the high edges of the slide. Some light freckling on the back strap and some very light brown patina visible under the finish here and there. The gun is currently fitted with a set of reproduction black plastic grips. It also comes with a spare set of wooden grips - one is period-correct, the other is a reproduction. Minty bore.
