1/23/23 - This is an excellent, all original 1906 DWM American Eagle Luger, chambered in .30 Luger. These pistols went to the US retail market and the manufacturers at DWM realized that nation-based crests increased sales of these Lugers, so that is why you find the American Eagle over the chamber. This is also why you see GERMANY marked on the frame, denoting these were exported for commercial sale. This particular gun has retained about 96-97% of its original bluing. Areas of very minor wear around the muzzle, on the side plate, and on the side rails. Some very light scratchy wear on the front strap and very minor freckling on both straps. Comes with nice period-correct wood grips and a properly-blank wood bottom magazine. The bore has good rifling with very minor pin-pricking throughout.
