12/6/22 - This is a very nice example of an early Walther PP sold in the commercial market in 1930. It is all matching, "Crown N" proofed, and has the proper early features, such as 90 degree safety, extended barrel, and "upside-down" serial number on the frame. It has retained about 90-91% of its original high polish finish with wear around the muzzle and light, somewhat spotty wear along both sides of the slide, concentrated mostly around the high edges. Some minor dulling in the finish, light brown patina, and light pin-pricking on both grip straps. Fitted with an excellent pair of period-correct weighted grips. Comes with a proper Walther banner-only magazine. Excellent, shiny bore with strong rifling.
