12/1/22 - This is a very nice example of a Walther PP issued to the Nazi military in 1944. It is all matching and has the proper "Waffen 359" military acceptance proofs on the slide and frame. It comes as a rig with one wartime finger extension magazine, one wartime flat-bottom magazine, and a nice 1942-dated black leather holster. The holster is probably more appropriate for a Mauser M1934 or HSC, but the PP fits very well. The gun itself has retained about 90-92% of its original wartime finish. The majority of the finish loss comes in the form of thinning on the grip straps, where there is also some light brown patina. Minor wear around the muzzle and around the high edges of the slide. Comes with excellent period-correct black bakelite grips. The bore is near-mint.
