8/15/22 - This is an excellent example of a rare Walther Mod HP that originally manufactured to be sold in the commercial market in the 1940's, and then diverted for issue to the Nazi military. The gun is all matching and has an "Eagle 359" Nazi military acceptance proof on the right side of the slide. It has retained about 93% of its original high polish finish. Most of the wear is on the front strap and underside of the trigger guard, but there is also some minor wear along both sides of the slide (concentrated mostly around the high edges), and around the muzzle. There are tiny dots of discoloration and pin-pricking here and there along the slide and barrel. Comes with excellent period-correct grips and an "Eagle 359" marked Walther magazine. The bore is mint. De-cocker is functional.
