6/14/22 - This is a very nice example of an Inland M1 Carbine issued to the US military in January - August of 1944. The receiver, barrel, and stock are all Inland marked. The barrel is dated May of 1944. It also has an "S" marked flip-up sight. Comes with one parkerized magazine. From examining the finish, we believe this gun has been arsenal reworked and refinished. In any case, there is very little actual finish loss, just some tiny handling marks here and there. There are noticeable bruises, dings, and scratches along the whole stock. Military cross-cannon cartouche on the right side of the butt stock. The bore has good rifling, but there are some areas of spotty oxidation and small pits here and there. The bolt retention pin is stiff on this one.
