6/1/22 - This is a minty example of a BYF 44 Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1944. It is all matching and has the proper "Waffen 135" military acceptance proofs throughout. It comes as a rig with a nice 1941-dated hard shell holster and an "Eagle 359" proofed Walther magazine. It has retained about 97% of its finish with minor muzzle wear, very minor wear at the very front edges of the slide, and one area of wear on the right side of the slide. The frame has a dull finish, and we believe it has been refinished. Comes with excellent period-correct reddish grips. The bore has strong rifling with some very minor freckling here and there. De-cocker is functional.
