5/10/22 - This is an excellent example of the rarest of all the army issued Mauser HSc's! In 1941, Mauser ceased production of the model 1934 in favor of the HSc, and some of the first several thousand procured bear the same proofs as the model 1934 - Eagle/655 on trigger guard and the army test proof on the grip tang. There were only 3,000 of this variation produced, with said markings and high-polish blue finish. This one is all matching and has the proper markings. It comes as a rig with two period-correct magazines and a very nice waffen-proofed, 1941-dated holster. The holster still has the proper "Mauser 7.65" ink stamp on the inside. The gun has retained about 94-95% of its original high polish finish. Most of the wear is around the muzzle, but there is one spot of wear on the right side of the slide near the ejection port. Some light scratchy wear on the back strap. Areas of minor pin-pricking around the high edges of the right side of the slide and around the tang. Comes with slightly worn period-correct wood grips - an area of light chipping on the right side. Excellent bore with strong rifling.
