6/3/21 - This is a nice example of a Mosin Nagant issued to the Soviet army in 1940. It is all matching and has the proper Soviet proofs. It has retained roughly 70% of its original high polish bluing. There is spotty wear throughout, most noticeable on the barrel, cylinder, and around the cylinder. Tiny dots of oxidation here and there. Very nice slightly worn wood grips. The cylinder is tight and the action is smooth. Excellent bore - shiny with strong rifling.
