3/4/22 - This is a very nice example of a Mauser Banner Luger issued to the Nazi police force in 1939. The gun is all matching, has a police sear safety, and has the proper police "Eagle L" proof on the right side of the slide. The gun comes as a rig with a beautiful 1939-dated police holster and a matching magazine. The gun has retained about 93% of its original finish. There is minor thinning on both grip straps, where there is also some light spotty brown patina. There is some spotty discoloration along the edge of the left side of the frame. There is also minor wear on the side plate, front edges of the side rails, and around the muzzle. Comes with excellent wood grips - one small bruise on the left panel. The left panel is numbered and matching, the right panel is un-numbered but is waffen-proofed. Minty bore with some tiny freckles here and there. The holster that comes with the rig is rare and in near-unissued condition. There are just some scuffs on the top flap and on the back. We would consider selling the holster separate from the gun for $500. Contact us if you are interested.
