12/29/20 - This is a nice, honest example of an Erfurt Luger issued to the German Imperial Army in 1916. It is all matching and has the correct Imperial and Erfurt proofs. It has retained roughly 70% of its original bluing. Minor thinning and patina on the straps. There is spotty wear throughout, most noticeable on the barrel, side plate, and high edges of the frame. Straw finish is still visible on the small parts. Comes with excellent original grips. Both are Erfurt-proofed. One is matching, the other is un-numbered. It also comes with a period-correct magazine with an un-numbered wood bottom. The bore has good rifling with just minor patina.
