1/11/22 - This is a very nice example of a Spreewerk P.38 issued to the Nazi military in August of 1943. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 88" Nazi military acceptance proofs throughout. It comes as rig with a fairly worn 1943-dated waffen-proofed holster, one period-correct jvd magazine, and one period-correct Walther magazine. The gun has retained somewhere between 85-90% of its original finish. There is wear on the front strap, along the high edges, and around the muzzle. Thinning on the underside of the barrel. On the right side of the slide, there is scratchy wear, a few areas of discoloration, and one small area of heavy pitting. There are also some small spots of oxidation on the front strap, left side of the slide, and on the barrel. Comes with excellent reddish bakelite grips. The bore has good rifling, but there is pitting around the muzzle area. De-cocker is not functional.
