11/17/21 - This is a nice example of a Sauer 38h issued to the Nazi military during WW2. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 37" Nazi military acceptance proof on the left side of the trigger guard. It comes as a rig with two period-correct magazines and a post-war black leather holster. The gun has retained about 91-92% of its original military finish. There is some minor thinning on the slide, but the most obvious signs of finish loss are areas of splotchy discoloration on both grip straps and both sides of the slide (more noticeable on the left side). There are some small areas of minor pitting on the left side of the slide, around the muzzle, and on the front strap. Areas of light scratching on both sides of the slide. Some freckling on the bottom of the frame. Comes with very nice period-correct grips - hairline crack in the left panel. The bore is mint.
