10/21/21 - This is a nice example of an Ortgies Pocket Pistol, chambered in 6.35mm. It is all matching and has the proper "Crown N" commercial proofs. There is a "Germany" export marking on the underside of the frame. It has retained roughly 70-75% of its original finish. Most of the finish loss is on the left side and top of the slide, where the finish loss is splotchy. Also on the left side of the slide, there are areas of oxidation and minor pitting. There is also spotty wear around the muzzle, on the right side of the slide, and on the back strap. Comes with excellent original wood grips and a period-correct factory satin-nickeled magazine. The rifling in the bore is a bit weak with minor oxidation and tiny pits in the grooves.
