9/27/21 - This is an excellent example of a Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1943. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 135" military acceptance proofs. The finish looks dark, so believe it has been "Russian dipped". In any case, it has retained about 99% of its finish. There is a small area of very minor wear on the bottom edge of the right side of the slide. Comes with excellent bakelite grips (may have been cut down at the top) and a period-correct Mauser magazine. The bore is mint. De-cocker is not functional.
