9/10/21 - This is a nice example of an Astra 600 delivered to the Nazi military as a part of the first Nazi contract in 1944. It is all matching and has the proper "Waffen D20" military proof. There is also an "LBPN" unit marking on the front strap, indicating this gun was then issued to the West German police force after WW2. The gun comes with an excellent 1959-dated leather holster, one un-numbered magazine, and one police arsenal-numbered matching magazine. The gun has retained roughly 75-80% of its original finish. There are areas of thinning on the whole slide, concentrated around the high edges and muzzle. One spot of noticeable wear on the front strap. Just a hint of thinning and patina on the back strap. Areas of spotty oxidation and minor pitting on the slide. Nice wood grips. Mint bore.
