9/10/21 - This is a very nice example of a Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1943. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" Nazi military proofs. There is an asterisk proof on the barrel, indicating it failed initial inspection and was sent back to the factory for repair. It has retained roughly 85% of its original finish. Most of the finish loss is on the front strap, where there is also some spotty oxidation. There is also finish loss on the top plate and minor wear on the high edges of the slide and around the muzzle. Comes with excellent grips and a period-correct magazine. Mint bore. De-cocker is functional.
