8/9/21 - This is a very nice example of a Mauser P.38 rig issued to the Nazi military in 1943. The gun is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 135" military proofs. The rig comes with a nice 1942-dated holster and two period-correct Mauser magazines. There are some noticeable scratches on the front of the holster. The gun has retained about 92-93% of its original finish. There are areas of wear on the underside of the trigger guard, on the top plate, on the high edges of the slide, around the muzzle, and on the barrel. Some areas of thinning on the top of the barrel through the ejection port and on the front strap. Some tiny dots of oxidation on the front strap. Comes with excellent grips. The bore has good rifling with very minor pin-pricking throughout. De-cocker is functional.
