8/4/21 - This is an excellent example of a first variation Walther Model 8 sold in the commercial market in 1920-21. The gun is all matching and has the proper "Crown N" proofs. There is a "Made in Germany" export marking on the left side of the frame, indicating this gun was intended for international sale. It has retained about 95% of its original finish. There is very minor wear along the high edges in general. One area of very minor wear on the left side of the slide. Areas of very minor pin-pricking and oxidation here and there. Comes with excellent grips and one proper magazine. The bore has great rifling with very minor pin-pricking in the grooves.
