7/2/18 - This is an original WW2 production Hunting Assn. knife. The knife was given to members of Germany's national hunting association. The blade is beautifully etched/engraved with two hunting scenes. Eickhorn maker marked side shows a pack of dogs taking down a boar. The reverse side is a hunter shooting at deer. The "spine" of the blade is also engraved with forestry leaves. The stag handle is excellent and features a deer with a nazi swastika between the antlers. The pommel and hand guard are pristine with beautiful engravings. Both the pommel and hand guard show normal dark patina. The leather scabbard stop isin tact and original, but shows aging and light wear from use. The scabbard has normal patina and finish wear but there's not rust or pitting, and the stretched leather body of the scabbard is excellent and in tact. Beautiful craftsmanship and quality. These are very hard to find in this condition. Guaranteed original and authentic.
