6/10/22 - This is an Enfield Henry Martini Mk IV rifle issued to the British military in 1887. This is of the "long lever" variation, upgraded from the earlier "short lever" version. It has the proper British proofs throughout and is in fair condition overall. Most notably, there is heavy brown patina and spotty oxidation covering all of the metal parts. Wear on the high edges of the receiver and noticeable finish loss on the barrel bands. The stock has noticeable dings, dents, bruises, and scratches throughout with some minor chipping where the right side of the butt stock meets the receiver. The gun is fully functional and actually has a really nice bore with good rifling.
