5/18/18 - This is the I.D. card for Dieter Bader, a member of the German SS during WW2. He was in the Leibstandarte or Hitler's Body Guard unit. Traveled with and protected the Fuhrer. Issued in 1939 just as Nazi Germany was annexing Austria and Czechoslovakia. Preparing to take all of Europe. This guy saw and hear a lot, no doubt. One of a kind and quite rare. Guaranteed original and authentic, overall in excellent condition.
