3/26/24 - This is a nice example of a Colt Single Action Army from 1887. Chambered in .45 Colt with a 5.5 inch barrel. Oddly enough, the only numbered part is the butt of the frame. Fitted with period-correct wood grips - some noticeable damage on the bottom edges. It has lost nearly all of its original finish with spotty oxidation and pin-pricking throughout. Scratchy wear on the left side of the barrel. Most of the remaining bluing is on the right side of the barrel. For its age, the bore is great with great rifling. Fully functional with a smooth action.
