Description
8/18/25 - This is an exceptional example of a scarce Colt 1911 made in 1918. It has the uncommon Black Army finish which is a darker matte blue. Correct Colt barrel - the top of the barrel is stamped with the H and P but they are not intertwined. Comes with a correct 2 tone magazine. The gun's original "black army" finish is better than most you'll see. There is barely any actual finish loss - just a few small handling marks here and there and some brown patina on the grip straps. Fitted with nice period-correct wood grips - small bruise on the left side. Very nice bore with good rifling.
