8/2/17 - This is an original pre WW1 production German Shooter's Prize mug/stein. The mug is completely engraved and in 100% original condition. The inscription on the front of the mug is written in German cursive, but roughly translates to "1896 Shooting Prize awarded to the first year recruit Frederich Gillet of the 3rd Co. of Kaiser's Infantry Guard Regiment with 60 rings." This is a unique collectible piece in absolutely perfect condition. The interior has no staining or corrosion. The lid opens and shuts easily. The base is maker marked from Munchen. The engraving depicts demonic wine spirits, snapes, grapes, and hops. Guaranteed original.
