Description
7/24/25 - For sale is a Colt Model 1911 that was 1 of 7000 delivered to the Navy in 1912. This handgun falls under the last delivery with the serial numbers of 12,501 to 13,500. The pistol retains some of its polished bluing finish but most has been worn away or has patina. The slide has remnants of light corrosion towards the muzzle. The right side has light prickling around the ejecting port. The frame has heavy finish wear in front of the trigger guard and on the grip. Right side above thet rigger has a patch of corrosion damage. The grips are free of any cracks or breaks. The bore retains bright lands but the grooves are darkening. The barrel is marked with an H on the top of the lip of the chamber. Comes with a magazine with a loop and a hardcase.
