SOLD - Excellent Colt M1911A1 - 1944

5/18/17 - This is an excellent example of a WW2 era Colt M1911A1, manufactured in 1944 for use by the American Army.  The original finish rates at 98+%, with only minor slide wear and a beautiful front strap.  The gun has the correct Colt barrel, and is properly proofed (G.H.D. inspector proof, P on slide and frame).  Period correct grips and magazine, which is marked 'S' on the lip.  Bore is minty.
