12/1/22 - This is a very nice example of a Walther Model 7 manufactured in about 1915-1919. This is one of the later 3rd variation examples, characterized by the "Walther-Patent Cal. 6.35." slide legend. It is all matching and has the proper "Crown N" proofs. It comes as a rig with two proper magazines and a generic tan leather shoulder holster that fits the gun well. The gun itself has retained about 94% of its original bluing. The majority of the finish loss is around the muzzle, where there is also come light spotty oxidation. Minor wear on the high edges of the slide. Very minor, somewhat scratchy wear on the grip straps and a few small pits on the front strap. A tiny ding in the metal on the left side of the slide. Comes with period-correct hard rubber grips - small divots on both sides and a hairline crack on the left side. Excellent bore with strong rifling.
