11/19/22 - This is a very rare Iraqi Tariq pistol made by Al-Qadisiyyah Establishments likely in the 1980's. It is a license-built copy of the original Beretta Model 70 and is chambered in 7.65mm. It was a standard issue handgun in service with Iraqi armed forces and the Republican Guard. This one also comes as a rig with one proper magazine and a very rare holster - from the inscription on the top flap, this was an honorary gift from the President and leader, Saddam Hussein. The holster is in minty condition except for what looks like some dried adhesive on the top flap and around the closure strap. The gun has retained virtually all of its finish with hints of wear on the high edges and a few tiny handling marks here and there. Comes with excellent commercial Beretta grips. Mint bore.
