6/22/22 - This is an excellent example of a BYF 43 Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1943. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 135" military acceptance proofs throughout. It comes as a rig with a minty 1943-dated hard shell holster and two period-correct Mauser magazines. The gun has retained about 97% of its original finish. Hints of wear around the muzzle and front edges of the slide. A couple of tiny spots of wear on the left side of the slide. Some tiny handling marks on the right side of the slide. Light brown patina on the front strap. Comes with excellent period-correct bakelite grips. The bore has strong rifling with very minor frosting in the grooves. De-cocker is functional.
