SOLD - 1939 42 Code Luger

9/26/17 - This is an original Mauser Luger produced during WW2. The pistol has a light plumb colored finish on the receiver, while the frame, barrel, and toggle are blued. The bluing is completley worn off of the front and back strap, and there is normal thinning wear in other places like around the muzzle and barrel, side plate, and typical edge wear. Overall we rate at about 80% but most of the wear is clearly on the front and back straps. The toggle and top of pistol is fine though. The pistol is also all correct and original configuration with no signs of tampering, which makes this a nice all original condition shooter or relatively affordable collector piece. The bore has some minor corrosion and surface wear, but should have no problems shooting after a thorough cleaning and proper use.
