7/24/20 - This is a Type 99 Arisaka by Kokura (made in 1942). Has a very nice finish throughout and an intact chrysanthemum. Also has the bipod and a dust cover. The dust cover is matching numbered to the gun. There is patina throughout the dark finish, but it is all original and we'd rate around 85%. The stock appears to have been stained, as many were after they were brought home from the war. Numbered small parts appear to be matching. The stock is not numbered or marked. The bore is very nice with strong rifling, but there is some signs of light wear in the grooves. It comes with an original bayonet - Nagoya arsenal marked. The bayo comes in the original scabbard with the leather belt loop. Everything is in excellent condition. The blade has retained much of its original bluing.
