7/30/19 - This is a spring assisted switchblade made during the WW2 era. These blades were often carried by US Paratroopers as they were extremely useful utility knives that one could easily open with one hand (in case you were stuck in a tree after a jump). The brown handle is in excellent condition with no cracks or chips. The blade is maker stamped, and although there are a few light surface scratches (you have to look in the right lighting), there appears to be no signs of sharpening. Some light oxidation and minor pitting on the spine area of the blade. Spring is strong and fully functional still. Safety works properly.
