2/22/21 - This is an excellent example of a Winchester Model 1917 issued to the US military in September of 1918. The receiver and barrel have the proper flaming bomb military proofs. We were told the bolt was made by Eddystone. There is a name scratched into the right side of the receiver. Overall, the gun is in excellent condition, but there is minor thinning on the barrel and receiver and spotty discoloration on the barrel bands and floor plate. The stock is very nice but seems to have been lightly sanded at some point. The gun comes with an original sling. The bore is near-mint.
