5/13/22 - This is a very nice example of a WW1 Eddystone Model 1917, chambered in .30-06. The serial number dates to 1918 and matches the date on the barrel. The gun has "Flaming Bomb" US Military proofs and an "Eagle Head 279" proof on the floor plate. There are "P" and "Eagle Head" proofs on the wrist of the stock and an "AAD" marking on the left side of the stock. The gun has retained most of its finish. There is minor wear around the muzzle and on the barrel. There are areas of minor pitting on the receiver. The stock is nice with minor dings and bruises throughout. It comes with an "MRT" marked leather sling. The rifling in the bore is a little worn and there is pitting throughout.
