8/2/22 - This is a Winchester Model 1894 saddle ring lever-action carbine from 1927. 20in round barrel chambered for .32 WS. The bore is excellent with strong rifling and no pitting. The rifle shows obvious wear on the receiver and bands, but the bluing on the barrel and magazine tube is in very good condition overall. The wood has various dings and nicks but no cracks. Lever-action is still fairly smooth but the gun could also benefit from a more thorough cleaning.
