10/7/20 - This is a nice example of a 1938, SA-issued Walther PP, marked "Gruppe Mitte" on the front strap. This particular gun is matching and has retained roughly 85% of its original bluing. There is muzzle wear, wear on the high edges of the slide, and areas of spotty discoloration along the length of the slide. There is also spotty oxidation and pin-pricking throughout, most noticeable on the back strap and the right side of the slide. It comes with excellent Walther grips and a double-stamped wartime magazine. The bore is excellent - shiny with strong rifling.
