8/12/20 - This is a Walther Model 4 manufactured in the late 1920's. This particular gun is of the 6th variation, characterized by the "Waffenfabrik Walther Zella-Mehlis (Thur)" legend on the right side of the slide and the rectangular ejection port. There is a small "Made in Germany" export mark on the left side of the frame. The frame, slide, and ejection port are "Crown N" proofed. This example has retained about 96-97% of its original bluing. There is very minor muzzle and high edge wear and minor handling marks here and there. There are small spots of oxidation on the straps and the underside of the slide near the muzzle. There is also an area of wear on the underside of the slide. The bore has decent rifling with minor pin-pricking. Very nice grips with a few small surface dings. Comes with a period-correct magazine.
