11/29/21 - This is a super rare Colt New Service Civilian Model of 1917 revolver from 1932, one of only ~1,000 produced. These were built using left over parts from the M1917 revolver production run, and feature a different legend on the barrel. The original blue on this one rates at about 97-98% as there's very little bluing loss, just a little on the high edges. It does have some patina on the barrel and grip frame, and a hint of minor discoloration on the frame. Excellent, shiny bore. Colt hard rubber grips in excellent condition.
