2/28/23 - This is an excellent example of a Colt Ace 1911A1 issued to the US military in August of 1945. This particular gun was part of one of the last deliveries of these guns. About 1,500 were delivered. It has a rare "JSB" inspector proof. It stands for John S. Begley, the final WW2 inspector. This gun also has a "RIA" arsenal rework stamp. It was refinished at the arsenal. It has retained 97-98% of this new finish. There is minor thinning on the front strap and a hint of wear around some of the high edges. Comes with excellent grips and a correct Colt Ace magazine. The bore is mint.
