9/18/23 - Original finish rates about 90%. All matching except the stock and barrel bands. The stock is period correct, and has the proper military cartouches / proof stamps. Mechanically sound with a smooth operation of the action. Bore has strong rifling with just a bit of frosting between the grooves. We rate the bore 8.5/10. The date/code combination of this rifle is scarce and highly collectible. Comes with an original cleaning rod and leather sling, as shown.
