SOLD - RARE SS Radom Rig

9/15/17 - This is a rare and unique offering: we have a late WW2 production phosphate Radom P.35 in beautiful condition, complete with a named SS Radom holster, uniform belt, and SS buckle. The story behind this one is that the veteran obtained this in Czechoslovakia after returning home from WW2. Like most bring-back stories, the soldier claimed to have pulled this off a dead SS Officer. This story though has believable evidence due to the faint ink writing within the Radom holster. The ink is old and faded, clearly original. We read "SS Uscha" on the first line which is an abbreviation for the German rank equivalent to Seargent. The next line we read "Gerh." which we believe is an abbreviated first name, followed by a last name of this SS officer. This to us is concrete evidence that the holster was carried by an SS officer. The holster is also waffen proofed and 1942 dated on the interior leather. The gun, as previously mentioned, is late war phosphated - and one of the nicest examples we've ever seen! The finish only has minor wear near the muzzle, front strap, and back strap. The grips are original and excellent. A very minty piece with a mint bore to boot! Also, we note that there are two very rare waffen eagle/623 proofed magazines included. These are the rarest of Radom magazines. The belt is black leather and unmarked, while the buckle is RZM stamped "RZM 36/40" with SS within two circles after. Guaranteed all original and authentic. The story doesn't come with any paperwork, only with what's shown in photos!
