8/6/20 - This is a Walther PPK from 1940 that was part of an SS contract order for these pistols. It's a type five with serial on slide, frame and spine of magazine, though the magazine is mismatched. The bluing rates at about 80% with an excellent frame but obvious wear on both sides of the pistol, and some patina on the right side. Minty bore. Nice original grip, though there is a short crack on the right side. The pistol comes with a letter of authenticity from Steven Stepan, the author of the SS PPK book.
